My Art Journey in Weesp

My Art Journey in Weesp

Hello, art enthusiasts and fellow Weespers! I'm excited to share some news that fills me with pride and gratitude. On November 18 and 19, 2023, I will be participating in the "Weespers Aan De Wand" exhibition, alongside a talented cohort of local artists from this charming town I now call home.

The location for this exciting event is the Van Houtenkerk, a place steeped in history and character, just like the beautiful town of Weesp itself. You can find us at Oudegracht 69, 1381 XX Weesp, and I can't wait to welcome you there.

To say that I'm honored to have been selected for this exhibition would be an understatement. You see, I only moved to Weesp last April, and to be embraced by the local artistic community in such a warm and welcoming way has been an incredible experience. It reaffirms my belief in the power of art to connect people, transcend boundaries, and build bridges.

For me, Weesp has been a wellspring of inspiration. Its picturesque landscapes, the stories embedded in its streets, and the people I've met here have all played a role in shaping my work. As an artist, I constantly seek to capture the essence of life and share it through my art. Weesp has become a vital chapter in that story, and I can't wait to share it with all of you at "Weespers Aan De Wand."

This exhibition represents not just my artistic journey, but also my journey in Weesp, a town that has embraced me with open arms. I invite you all to join me on this exciting weekend. It's not just an opportunity to view art, but a chance to celebrate the vibrant artistic spirit of Weesp and the connections we can forge through creativity.

So, mark your calendars for November 18 and 19, and come join us at the Van Houtenkerk. Let's explore the power of art to unite us and discover the beauty of Weesp through our collective artistic expressions. I can't wait to see you there!

Warm regards, Guido Kooiman
