For the Cultuurprijs Weesp-Driemond 2023 I was asked to design and create the certificate. On November 23rd 2023 the price was handed out to WeespFoto.
Initially intended as a certificate, this is now officially a commemoration of winning the Cultural Prize 2023. The style is predominantly Art Nouveau, as I find its elegance and flowing movements fitting for art and culture.
Art manifests in many different forms, and culture evolves alongside it. I have painted Japanese cranes due to their symbolism. They represent luck and protection that I wish to convey to the winner, as well as beauty and creativity.
